π General Conditions
Swisspetsitter only accepts dogs that meet the following criteria:
- Fully potty trained (pad-trained dogs are not accepted).
- Non-aggressive towards humans.
- Do not exhibit destructive behavior when left alone for short periods (e.g., during errands or emergencies). Your dog must be able to stay alone for two hours maximum without causing any damage to our furniture or personal belongings.
Please evaluate your dog's behavior carefully. Failure to meet these requirements may result in a cancellation without notice or refund.

Booking Confirmation
- Bookings are confirmed in writing (email or WhatsApp).
- Confirmation includes service details: boarding period, pick-up/drop-off time and location, rates, and special conditions.
- Bookings are only confirmed after full payment is received.
π³ Payment
- Accepted methods: Twint or bank transfer.
- Payment must be completed prior to boarding confirmation.
β Cancellation Policy
- If canceled before the start date, 50% of the total fee will be refunded. (Train ticket fees will be deducted.)
- If canceled after the service has started, no refund will be issued.
- Rescheduling is not permitted.
π Client Obligations
- Provide accurate and complete information regarding your dog: breed, age, weight, diet, medication, behavior, etc.
- Complete a behavior questionnaire provided by Swisspetsitter.
- Ensure your dog is healthy, vaccinated, and suitable for boarding. Proof may be required.
- Follow all care instructions provided by Swisspetsitter.
- Guarantee to Swiss Pet Sitter that their dog is fully house-trained, does not exhibit any aggressive behavior towards humans, and does not display destructive behavior when left alone for up to two hours maximum.
π‘οΈ Liability
- Swisspetsitter ensures professional and responsible care.
- Only one dog is boarded at a time.
- Swisspetsitter is not liable for damages.
- Clients are responsible for:
- Any damages caused by their dog (photos will be provided as proof).
- Repair/replacement costs within 4 months of notification.
- Clients are liable for injuries/damages to third parties.
- No liability is assumed in cases of force majeure (e.g., natural disasters, pandemics).
β οΈ Dangerous Animals
- Clients must disclose if the dog is considered dangerous (aggression, breed restrictions).
- Swisspetsitter may refuse or cancel bookings due to dangerous behavior.
- A penalty fee applies if aggressive behavior occurs during boarding:
- Immediate dog pickup required.
- If not possible, CHF 60/day will be charged until pickup.
π Emergency or Illness
- In case of illness or emergency, Swisspetsitter will:
- Notify the client immediately.
- Take necessary steps to ensure the pet's safety.
- Veterinary care will be sought if needed; instructions will be followed.
- All veterinary costs are the client's responsibility.
π¦ Service Delivery
- Swisspetsitter provides care in a professional and trustworthy manner.
- If services cannot be delivered, an alternative solution will be proposed.
- No refunds will be issued if an alternative is found.
